Airbag removal ??

Since my Del Sol is a 1995, can I legally remove the front airbags? Federal laws didn't require them until 1996.

i just unplugged the SRS underneath the steering column in the dash its the big bright yellow wire..

Depends on state law, some states allow it, some dont. ID check before doing that. Worst case, a gas station would have to pass you for state inspection, and not the DMV center.
