Speed Limiter?

Speed Limiter?
So as far as I know JDM ECUs don't have a speed limiter. The other day I was trying to catch up w/my friends on the highway to watch a race and I hit 125mph and I hit a govner. Oh ya I have a JDM GSR in my coupe.
