Default B18A1 automatic to manual transmission in CRX

I can pick up B18A1 with automatic transmission pretty cheap. I'd be dropping into my '89 CRX DX (D15B2 w/ manual transmission). What would I need to switch the B18A1 to a manual besides transmission, clutch, and ECU. Anything else? Will the axles work? I found conflicting info in search. . .

Thanks.

Not just buying the engine alone. . .

Well you will need the clutch flywheel all the bolts for them also, axles should be ok I think when i looked them up at the parts store they were all the same for auto and manual abs or not but just call your local parts store, the DS is the one I think might give you a problem you might need a manual midshaft and DS axles but best way is to try and see if it works or not and let us all know...auto B18a have an EGR on the intake mani you will need to get around that probably just leave it unhooked or eliminate it or swap on a different intake manifold...so what is the good deal on an auto LS teg, they should almost be free now, I have had a few 5spd DAs i bought in good running condition for under $1K and one for $500 so keep your eyes out might be best to search since it will have a lot more usufull parts for you...

Unless you are using other parts off the car you can find and LS for $300 usually so you might be wasting money...just trying to help ya out

$150 for the whole car, 120k, but its got some front end damage. I'll just be taking the engine swap stuff out and doing a rebuild, then maybe doing rear disc brake conversion with it.

Not a bad deal then, good find! Probably part out some of the stuff and make your money back for that price...probably sell the auto trans...I've seen people pull them at our local junkyards and thats fairly low miles for the year good luck
