i just got my motor back finally after about 11 months of being out of order and being rebuilt. i swapped the motor back in and i got fuel and spark. not throwing a check engine light..but for some reason, it does not want to start. anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem may be? help please!!

maybe your timing is off or your valve lash is out of adjustment i changed my head three weeks ago and the car wouldt start afterwards i checked all my valves and adjusted them back to spec then made sure my timing was perfect and it started right up afterwards

 

hmm well as far as timing goes..i had someone move my distributor back and forth retarding and advancing my timing slowly while i tried to crank the car but the engine doesnt want to start. and valves..i had them properly checked out twice already. >.<
