Default trans question

my trans was just freshly rebuilt. before i installed it, it went into all of the gears. and when i first put in on the car it went in all of the gears except 5th. now its hard to go into all of the gears. and the car acts like it wants to take off in neutral (well atleast it appears to be in neutral when i shift it). and this is the same problem i had on the previous trans before i took it out. do you think that it may be the shift linkage is bent?

by the way its a jdm b16 trans with a jdm type r lsd and final drive

are you sure you installed the clutch kit right? maybe it was over torque'd I had this problem with a car before a kid installed his own clutch and all the gears started to take alittle more push than usaual to engage. it ended up being that he used a air ratchet to install the pressure plate and over torque'd.

its a new disk. my previous transmission did the same thing. that was the whole purpose of changing the transmission.
