i have an issue with my new swap....b16 cat converter to short...
Ok let me tell you the problem that is stoping me from driving my car is that i have an 94 civic eg with an apexi exhaust, so i have a swap with a gsr and a gsr dc sports 4-1 header....well here comes the problem the cat converter that i have is a b16 cat and is to short and it doesnt connect the exhaust to the header..they say i might need a custom test pipe or is the another cat that i can use...let me know if have ran into this or if you have a suggestion...
Just extend your cat (add in however much piping you need).
Some steps so you get what I mean...
1) Remove cat
2) Cut off one of the flanges, either side...header or cat-back
3) Weld in additional piping with the old flange
4) Bolt it back up
Or just take it to a muffler shop and get them to do it

You can either extend the cat, extend the B-pipe, or pick up a new header from an LS, ITR, B16, or '00-01 GS-R.
