the guy who is going to tune my set up asked what i wanted to hit hp wise i asked him whats the most he can put it to he said over 400 hp what do u guys think
setup:
completely stock b18c1
blox intake manifold
rc 750 injectors
t3/t4 turbo a.r 84 hotside and a.r 50 coldside
tuned on chrome

my 80k mile stock gsr @ 370whp lasted 3 weeks with a very conservative tune.
some last some don't.

ya that didn't last very long.... i wouldn't try to push a stock gsr longblock to 400whp though, ya its been done thousands of time but why stress the motor like that, just put pistons/rods in it

if youre running E85 or 110 octane and understand that it isnt going to last, then go for it...the engine isnt going to last long no matter what you do

mine didnt last that long, maybe 12 hours. Crack sleeve (stock) in cylinder 4 doing 15 psi

it really depends on the fuel, tune, and how you take care of it. I made 438whp on a stock ls/vtec on e85 and its been boosted for 2 years. Runs perfect with 175 compression and 3% leakdown. it can be done, you just gotta be careful.

I recommend 300whp DD and 350whp on race or track days.

Take care and practive routine maintence, and you shouldn't have much problems..
