hey how's everybody doing? yeah like the topic says, its kind of a gassy smell that i would assume to be and i did check my oil and it was running bit low so i put half a quart cuz that was all i had left, and the dip stick show a little under where the max level is at, and yesterday i change my sprak plugs so im a bit confused, could use some advice thanks, oh yeah im using royal purple and my plugs are ngk iridium

Did you torque your spark plugs?

Also that Gassy smell(im not 100 percent kosher on this) would be called running rich?

 

yup i made sure they were snug and set, also gapped them, though ngk say there are pre-gap but can be off y'know,and the gassy smell that i was saying i want to say that its rich too, but if so could that mean my o2 senser is bad? its got 89,000 miles thanks for the help guys

 

has it just started doing this? stock hondas run rich in vtec from the factory.

 

thanks for the reply, actually it would'nt smell before, just started smelling pretty strong about fri, oh yeah i just remembered since fri i have'nt driven it for about a week if that helps.. thanks
