i was going along, not getting crazy or anything just looking for road signs. All of the sudden i see the big yellow speed camera and the dashed lines in front of me. I yell F*** cuz i knew i was going over the limit. i quickly look at my speedo and take a hand full of break. 80 in a 70 (i think) im a little worried that perhaps i had already been slowing down when i got tags but we'll just half to wait and see. on the bright side, Im over in england with Nebraska tags that weren't registered with customs. if they want me they are going to half to hunt me down! no, if they really want me its just going to delay the ticket. but who knows, perhaps they didn't get me. should only be a $60 fine....



i guess this is what the picture they take looks like... i was in the 3rd lane over.

yeah...

so you know, in about a month or so when you cant ride anymore? yeah ill still be riding... no it gets cold here too, just not Nebraska cold. its a good time so far, looking to go to the isle of man TT this next summer. if any HTers want to go, let me know.

yeah im not too sure what they are doing there.. trying to knock it down? its amazing that when you google "speed camers" half the pictures that come up are pics of bikes

i know we have red light cam's but haven't heard anything about speed cam's.

Probably because you spelled "cameras" wrong.



Next time just look for the speed strips and avoid/slow down before them.

haha, I thought there for a second that i did... they are in the process of installing new cameras that record your plate at point A and several miles up ahead the take a second recording. they time you from point A to B so you cant speed in between.
