Default 90 accord front end suspension

I bought a 90 honda accord already lowered and the front end is giving me so much trouble. I had adjustable camber kits installed and that now keeps my tires from wearing fast. However, I have a new problem. My A-arms are touching the wheel wells and they also slam against the frame when ever I hit potholes. Please Help. Are there any after market A-arms and what can I do about the front end hiting so hard?

Yes. Every thing was installed correctly. The springs are after market lowered springs. My two biggest problems are the a-arms hitting the top of the wheel well and touching the side of the wheel well. When I first had the adjustable camber kit installed, the front end was very bouncy like it had hydrolics. Is there an after market a-arm out there that can aleviate me of this problem?

Yeah, get the adjustable balljoints instead of the mount adapters. I have the tops of my strut towers cut out, raised about 1/2" from the hood and welded back in. That's another option. What the centric bolt style kits do is actually lengthen the control arm which makes it hit alot sooner on the body. The balljoint style do not change the length at all. The reason your car was bouncy after the install was probably because whoever installed them torqued the bushings down with the car in the air. That causes the bushings to "wind up" kinda like a torsion bar. Always leave bushings loose and torque them with the vehicle resting on its own weight.

btw... are you sure it is the c-arms and not the struts bottoming out?? Place a zip-tie around your shock shaft and take your car for a spin. Take a look at how much your suspension travels by how far the zip-tie is slid up the shaft.

i have a 91 accord with the same problem... let me guess your camber kits are from engals right? yea well you either have to deal with the camber or get the new a-arms... i dont kno of any a-arms that are made for my car so i just ordered some skunk 2's online for a 94 accord and they work just fine, or raise your car

I know it's been a while since you replied to my post. But I was wondering where you got the 94 accord skunk2 camber kit. I can't seem to find it any where. I'm also looking for other applications that could fit my car if that one is no longer available.
