*** Accord accident... totaled or not?
2004 accord ex
4 cyl
Automatic
62K
I got into an accident yesterday night. It was on a 5 lane highway, a guy in a minivan switches over to my lane and hits me. I spin his rear end out and I end up in the side of a hill.
I had my brother drive it home. But it makes suspension noises.
What do you think... will they fix it or total it?

damage doesnt look too bad... but then again.. you wont know until you take it apart. but my guess is its not gonna be totaled. im also guessing.. $3-4k worth of repairs, thats on the high side of an estimate. let me know how much it cost so i can see how good my guess was =p

It looks like the front wheel has some positive camber, so more than likely you have suspension pieces bent. The body damage looks minimal, new fender, door, bumper and she'll be good as new. Good luck with things.

definatelly negative camber... doubt they will total it out... make sure it doesnt have negative camber after they fix it.... had issues with that on my mini coop after it was fixed

you wont know until you pull it all apart, but it doesnt even look like the wheel is crooked... the fender is all dented in so it just looks like its pokin out...

If no air bags deployed, it's probably not going to be totalled. It will cost a few grand to fix though. I learned the hard way, sometimes it's easier just to go through your own insurance, and let them worry about collecting from the other guy's insurance company. Good luck, and hope they can get it right.

Very easily repaired. replace Fender and door skin, repair the bumper, blend the paint on the bumper/ paint fender and L F Door, 2500 bucks paying someone else, As low as 800 DIYkinda for same or better job depending on finesse and attention to quality of work 1.buy used White LF Fender and door $550, Replace yourself , Have bumper repaired by a used car reconditioner $150. 3.Have vehicle professioanlly detailed. $100.

It looks like it will make it through to me fella. If you want them to total it I would be tempted to take a sledge hammer to the window frame. Wrap it up in a towel first thou. Then you will be able to go get yourself some new honda cars
Lets us know how you got on. You were insured right?

I would say you should be able to get that fixed. If you wanted it written off you should have taken a sledge HAmmer to the wind screen frame.
