I searched but found nothing specifically showing removal of the center console. I have the armrest and part around the e-brake off. I got out the JDM console (this:
) and have removed all screws that obviously hold the last piece in but there's something that isn't visible still holding it in.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. If there is already a thread for this, I'm sorry I didn't find it.

My stock one was wedged up underneath the dash portion hanging down under the radio. Had to work it out nice and slow as not to break the sides
Did you remove the cigarette lighter (disconnect)?

That's exactly how it feels, like it's wedged up under there, and I can't free it up. I didn't disconnect the cigarette lighter, but it doesn't appear to be in the way.
Maybe I should just try to slowly work it out like you said.

Yeah, removing the screws that hold it in place was really easy and very straightforward... its just the damn thing was wedged underneath and felt like it was still screwed in. Give it a try
You have the three screws on both sides of that console. With that out, there are two screws on both sides to take the faceplate (containing ashtray, cig lighter) off. Then there is two 10mm bolts holding that frame to the shifter console. There are two screws holding the frame up top to the dash bracket. There are two screws holding in the dash bracket to the dash.
I have removed this audio console off so many times. Pain in the *** sometimes since there are so many screws.

I finally got it. Thanks very much for the help, guys. I appreciate it.
I'll never take that thing apart again. All that work just to change a shift boot.
