Confused on new setup/tuning issues
Right now i have a d16y8, with a greddy kit, and more or less, i want to rip it out because im sick of the problems that ive been having.
This winter i plan on building something but im not sure yet.
I wanted to get the best bang for my buck, and i was considering LS/vtec, or b20/vtec, but my friend just went lsv and im not impressed with the results.
My second problem is that i have been uninspected since january because my car is obd2, and im running hondata s300 on an obd1 computer w/ stepdown harness, and therefore my car in new york, will not hook up to the state inspection machine. I would have to buy a piggyback such as emanage and throw my stock ecu on and retune it.
My question is though, if i swap something B series, to be inspected, would i be able to get a piggyback and tune it from my stock ecu, just to idle long enough for the inspection, im not worried about it being tuned on a different ecu though.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
