Horrible rust problem. Project car
I bought this car as a project car, and that's essentially what it is. I knew it had bad rust. But am deciding if I should even attempt fixing it, or if it is even possible.

You can do that, but's it's a pain, I would just go OEM.

It really isn't that bad lol. EF's in the rust belt typically develop pretty horrible rust, but if it's a project you're looking for--you got it.
My car today (The red one):

Now imagine first-sized rust holes (multiple) on both rear quarters. Yeah, my car was once Canadian, lol.
Just go to a junkyard and cut a roof offa a clean EF, and contact Wes V. He has a nice writeup on how to replace an EF roof skin on his site. Not too much work, really. Just drill out some spot welds and reweld it in. A helluva lot easier than replacing a full quarter (IMO) because you don't need to smooth anything out (welds are in the rain gutter covered by the weatherstripping
