Default Diffrence between manual motors and automatic motors

Okay so I got a new motor on the way, and apparently its off an automatic. I have a 5-speed. The guy that sold it to me, said all i have to do is change the fly wheel, is this true. Im asking early cause my swap isnt happening till end of month.

take everything off til you get to the main seal and you have a 5 speed block.

also something to keep in mind is, when putting on a flywheel to replace the AT torque plate, get new flywheel bolts, because the ones that hold the AT flex plate to the crank are shorter than the ones that hold a flywheel to the crank.

Well I spent 900 on the motor and 200 on the ECU. He is shipping it for free. Yeah same guy, they seemed honest enough. Thats for the info.

Now All I need is a new flywheel and the pins to wire Vtec.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 94Vtecluder &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">How much did you pay? Any suggestions on flywheels? I hear that the fly wheel and clutch should be upgraded at same time.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Eddiebx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">also something to keep in mind is, when putting on a flywheel to replace the AT torque plate, get new flywheel bolts, because the ones that hold the AT flex plate to the crank are shorter than the ones that hold a flywheel to the crank.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I'd get a Fidanza 8lb flywheel and Exedy stage 1 or 2 clutch.

Well Il probally do the flywheel, but not the clutch. I think I have like 400 bucks left to complete my set up for November. The only thing that I have left to do for the year after the swap is tune with s200. I was thinking of getting the hondata software just to play with cause Im not capable of using that software right now with my current skills.
