the water hose that runs to the evac if that was disconnected will that affect the idle at all

cause im sitting at like 2800 rpms and i dont know what to do to get it down

ive checked the tps and its working fine

so other that that open tube what should i do

 

Had same problem it was the fitv
Fast idle vavle, mine came apart inside not closing the vavle, i cleaned and and reasembled it and done deal.
Start ur car take ur intake off and cover the bottom hole thats in there, if ur car idles low or shuts off its yout fitv.

 

ok but on my mani it looks like i dont have the fitv ill take a pic to show you guys

 

mine seems to be doing the same but it runs at 2.2 when i start it and starts to go down after 2 mins or so of sitting ? can anyone help

 

i dont have that thingy on my intake manifold at all
