Never let your engine starve for fluids.

i hate you for typing that, and i hate me for reading that.

will you notice a difference in performance by being low on oil by 50%? if by difference in performance means your car will soon take itself apart in a destructive manner then yes, you will notice a difference.

difference? no not at all, when your car is low on oil it engages the vtak fluid (or v-tek if edm) to compensate

I mean seriously did you realy ask that question?
I realy don't think you want to go through the headache of your engine becoming a jigsaw puzzle

I particularly love his threads since he used to flame me.

I wouldn't be surprised if the S2000 and TL belong to others in his family. That just seems like a lot for a 20 year old to own.

I have to ask this...

Why the HELL would you care about performance when you know your engine is low on oil?

Why don't you just pay a few bucks and put more in...?

Sounds like you're 2 quarts short on brains too...

And just for the record, for those who call "bs" on my cars, your just mad because im successful at being 20 while u work at jiffy lube with ur hatch.

I don't care if it happened to you or not. It's a retarded question.

"Hey guys! My tires are really bald. How fast do you think I can go??!!"

Oh yeah, and I'm "successful at being 20" too. I am 20, therefore I'm successful at being that age. What exactly are you doing that's so profitable. Selling drugs?

running low on oil actually makes you faster because there is less friction between your crank shaft and all the oil in your oil pan.

That should have answered your question well enough.

So metal-metal contact has less friction than metal-oil?

Or do you mean less friction because your crankshaft isn't dipping into the oil (which shouldn't happen in the first place)?

A field engineer at 20 years old? AHAHAHAH.
