Loose Steering under braking?

As the title says when Im braking the steering gets pretty loose and sloppy, its not all the time its just when Im braking. Its a power steering car (93 DX) so is it a vacuum issue? Let me know your thoughts.

Explain the problem with greater detail.

Does the wheel jutter? Any feeling of a wobble?

Poor alignment?
