P0141 oxygen sensor
so my grandmas 03 Accord LX I4 just threw its first check engine light the other day. the code was P0141: heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 2. i'm not too familiar with the 7th gens (or any OBD2 car for that matter) but is there 2 or 3 02 sensors? if there is 3, is the code refering to the one in the cat or the one after the cat.
the car also only has 32k miles on it, so im surprised its already throwing the code. but im going to check the simple stuff first, fuse, loose/broken wires, etc. any suggestions before i throw down $100 for a new 02 sensor?

There's 2 O2 sensors & that's referring to the rear one, in/after the cat.
I haven't had to do that yet on my 2003, but unfortunately I've heard you have to remove the passenger seat & look under the carpeting. Yup, the sensor wire goes thru the floorpan before you'll find a plug...
That's the code for the heater in that sensor. Get a multi-meter & unplug the sensor. There's 2 wires from the sensor itself that are the same color (black?). Measure resistance between them. It should be 10 to 40 ohms. If it's not, get yourself a new sensor. If the resistance is OK, post back for more help.

There's 4 different error codes for the front O2 sensor. Is it the one specifically for the heater? If so, then just do the same thing as I said above.
