Is it possible to fabricate a 3inch dp for the greddy kit?

Is it possible to fabricate a 3inch dp for the greddy kit?
I went to the muffler shop and they said it was impossible to fit a 3 inch dp since there was no room between the oil return line and the intercooler piping.
