Depends on the tune and how much boost, but I would say no prob. I can safely boost my D on stock internals to around 6-8PSI, so you should be able to do the same.

People can safely boost above 6-8 as long as they have a good tune from a professional. I've seen a few friends of mine using a drag turbo kit on thier Si and it put out some nice power.
Thanks
im not sure what kit to go with yet but i have been told that turbonetics is pretty good so im going to look into that.
Also i should run an external wastegate correct?

I hate to do what everyone else does on this forum but seriously use the search option first. There is countless threads that talk about boosting on stock motors. I can tell you now though that yes you can but the reliability will depend on the tune. Do not take any short cuts and make sure that you do all that is needed.
