Best Suspension Setup for DD & Street Racing????
Ok here is my dilemma. I have been researching and looking around for the best suspension set up for a 92 civic hatch. I was wondering if what I had at the moment would be good enough. I have the tokico blues with some sprint springs, but getting better springs, so which one?. At the moment I have the blox camber kit not installed, but will in the spring.
My main question is what springs or suspension setup would be good to run DD and sometimes at the tracks? Oh I will have close to 300 horses in the spring time and need the wheels to be on the ground. Thanks.

Well let's hope it's track like you said in the post, and NOT street racing like you said in the title.
For one thing, ditch those Tokico shocks, and quick. They are junk, and even more so with the power you're talking about putting down.
Probably the best bang for the buck suspension for what you want to do is Koni Sport shocks with Koni-specific Ground Control coilovers. Go with custom rates, probably somewhere in the 400-450 lb/in range up front, and 300-350 range for the back. If you want a little more rear-biased handling, more prone to the rear stepping out when you lift off the throttle, then go with stiffer springs in the rear (maybe 400 up front and 450 rear). Keep in mind that the overall daily ride quality on the street will feel much more harsh with stiffer rear springs.
Also, return or sell the Blox camber kit. You won't be needing that. Just get the toe zero'd out by getting an alignment after you change out the suspension. Rotate the tires every 5K miles or so and you shouldn't have any major tire wear problems, even with some negative camber (which is good for handling).

What would I tell the alignment shop? Would I just say "I need the toe's zero'd out?" Or would they know? Thanks for the info. What does aftermarket camber kits really do? Looks? This would save me lots of money. Thanks.
