IACV obd2b tech help only
as you know obd2b 99'-00' motors do not come with the two holes for the IACV. I have a 99 motor with an obd1 wiring harness. Im throwing no CEL but I have a surge problem. For one i know it's the IACV. My question is, Can i drill the two holes in the back of the manifold for the iacv and would it fix my problem?
k, first off, what do you mean by 2 holes for the iacv. are you talking about the iacv itself, or the ports on the manifold. cause they both have 2 holes.
you have a b16a2 with a obd1 harness. so you arent running the original ecu right?
how do you know its the iacv an not another sensor like tps, or a vacuum leak? have you checked the oring one th iacv? or the TB gasket, IM gasket?
