ignition problem i think need help asap

That was really hard to read but from what I think I got out of it, there was a clicking sound coming from near the steering wheel? Sounds like a clicking relay, maybe you have a bad main relay (although I didn't think it'd click if it was bad, it just clicks all the time). BTW, why the hell would your 'mechanic' wire a switch to the starter? Talk about ghetto (not to mention, what would that fix anyway?), you need to find someone new to work on your car.
