two questions about swapping b16 to b18c

Default two questions about swapping b16 to b18c

ok first question is i'm looking at a 96+ ITR swap so anyone know what the best place to buy it from would be? and two is since i already have a b series motor do i need to get the full swap that includes a tranny or can i get one thats just the motor?? i've been told swapping from one b series to the other is just plug n play type install. any info would be great! thanks for the help in advanced

You can use the B16 tranny, same as the 96 spec ITR without LSD. Depending what harness you have on the B16 motor it can be plug and play.

Depends on how you use your car. There are aftermarket LSDs better than the factory one that you can add later on.

Just get the motor if I were you. The b16 tranny mated to it will still work great even though it doesnt have LSD like the ITR tranny.

Just grab a quaife LSD later on if you want one.

alright so then where would be the best place to pick one up at. obviously the least expensive would be best. i know pswdjdm is one of the cheapest ive seen but i dont know if theres anywhere else. if anyone can let me know that would be great.

hmotorsonline is the best place to get it imo, heard bad things about pjdms engines.
