Default Power Door Locks Not Working.... HELP!!

I have both a 96 & a 98 Civic, both Ex's and both power door locks are not working. The 98 I've had for about 2 years and they haven't worked from when i got them but when i had the alarm installed they checked all components out and said that it's getting power and giving power and suggested that it may be the Power Lock relay/module (can't remember exactly which one). I'm thinking that since the 96 is having the same problem (previous owner said that it once worked and once day stopped) that it may be caused by the same thing. I'm not sure where to find the module/realy. In the repair manual it says that it's behind the cluster but is very vague.... Has anybody had this problem before? And if so, can somebody help me remedy this? Seems senseless to have an EX without power locks....

yeah my remote doesn't work anymore either (i have put new batteries in it and the red light turns on when i press a buttong) but my driver's side door is a little scetch too. I have to hold the handle out while pressing the lock switch to lock the doors.

if power tests ok going into the control box and contintuity on the ground wire is good, but you arent getting power back out of the box to the lock actuator leads, then the box is bad.

test for power on white/green
and ground continuity on the black wire.

if those are good but you dont get power on white/red blue/red or yellow/red while working the switch then youre box is bad
