Civic heater problem
Hey I own a 97 Civic DX HB and I notice that when i turn the tempature lever to the left which is the hot side it doesnt change from cold and i notice that the lever is pretty easy to move is'nt suppose to be a little stiff???? well my question is?? is there a cable or somthing that hooks up to the tempature lever from behind???

yeah there is its kinda hard to find ihave an ex 98 but it shouldt be too different. it should be waaaaayyyy in the back inder the dash and behind to the left of the little storage compartment (name kinda slipped my mind right now but there should be a wire almost int the shape of an L and it sounds like its not connected to the lever its supposed to move back n forth putting it in might be hard n u will probably need some needle nose pliars.
good luck
good luck
The L shapped wire could have broken the plastic bracket that it slips into at the head unit or down at the heat door, this is going to be a fun fix.
do i have to remove anything??? like i already know that i have to remove the panel where the cigarate connector is at but i mean like the dash or any bsides that??
