switching ecus for deq???
So im going to turbo my ls engine. Its OBD2
so i have to switch to obd1, so for all you guys that have done this when you go to pass DEQ, I live in Oregon BTW, do you just put your obd2 ecu back on and put stock injectors on. or do you take the turbo off too? Woulden't it not be good if i ran my car with all my turbo stuff on with the stock obd2 ecu?

im not obd2 so i cant tell u for sure. but assuming u kept all the emmission stuff, or if the fake 2nd o2 works then i think it would be easy. just put stock ecu, stock injector in and be fine. maybe disconnect hhe charge pipe right before you get to the testing station, just dont drive long like that, not good for your turbo.
and make sure no boosting on stock stuff!

Thats for passing the sniffer part of the tests. He'd likely fail any PCV, visual, or OBD2-hookup tests (obd1 ecu's won't send **** through the obd2 dataport). They'll say "**** son, your dataport is broke. pass go, head directly to honda stealership, and don't collect $200"
As long as you have a stock intake mani, stock injectors, stock head, and the cat, you can go back to 'like stock', just make sure you pull a coupler after the turbo. If they don't flag you on the visual, it will be able to re-correct itself during the 250miles you have to run after an ecu reset in order to pass the dataport-hookup part of the test.
Here in WI I just say its kept in a certain county and I don't even have to drive by the emissions place. I could have raw gas dripping from my exhaust and I'd technically be emissions-legal.

hmm. i have another question, if i had a obd1 engine in there with of course obd1 ecu, would i fail because they wold see the year of my car and say it has to be obd2. I mean could they just do the sniffer test. if i were to tell them its a an abd1 engine. Or is that illigal to swap in a obd1 engine in a 96 or newer. BTW again i live in oregon.
