Default ready to swap d16 engine, can anyone help me please?

hey hows it going everyone. i actaully sold my old civic with the mini me swap. it kind of sucked. long story. i was better off wth a 16a doch 1.6l....i wish. Anyways i just picked up a 1997 civic hatch with a blown engine. i have a good 1.5l 1994 civic engine. to do the swap i would have to use the stock intake manifold, ground the nock sensor and replace the oil pump. the oil pump is on the timing chain. i was wondering everyone...does it matter what position the oil pump and water pump is in? like timing lines dont matter on those pulleys do they? I understand the cam and the crank pulley need to be lined up but that isnt a problem. but if i have to replace the oil pump with another one than obviously i cant line it up. hey, i have a couple more questions if you all dont mind. Do you all think a civic tranny with 80k that i KNOW has been beat on is more logical to use than a tranny with 180,000 miles that i wouldnt think, has been beat on? The other tranny has an a-load of miles but the person i bought the civic told me that it could do 110 in 3rd gear. just what i wanted to hear, considering their is a huge hole in the engine block to bat, (which is why i am switching out the engine). So if i do decide to use the 80k tranny, and i put it on the other engine, do i need to adjust the clutch with in alignment tool to get everything good on the tranny to the engine? or can i just bolt the tranny on the "new complete" engine clutch/flywheel without having to adjust anything and just be able to slap it on the new engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you sooo very much for taking your time to read this. thanks again! Dave
