To start, you don't have to take the belt off.
Remove the timing belt cover, and using the crank, set the engine to TDC.
Do the cams/cam also show that the motor is TDC?
Don't worry about the water and oil pumps.

Re: can someone please please pleaseeee help me. Timing issue (t0p_sh0tta)
well i have to swap the oil pump out and put an obd2 oil pump in. i also just want to swap out the water pump because its got 180,000 on this engine. the new engine i hsve is an obd1. so pretty much i am doing an obd1 (engine) into an obd2 wire harness. But i definately will have to swap out the oil pump. thank you SO much for getting back to me. please let me know if the oil and pump need to be timed. thanks you SO much
