Last month my uncle won a blue 2007 S2000 from the casino and 10 g. He gave me 5 g to mod it what should i do to the engine? Or should I just leave it alone? If I read wiki right its an f22c1 engine with about 231 hp. I want to know if I can put regular guages in place of the digital one? Oh and it has 250 miles on it if that helps.

 

in my opinion, i think that you should really learn the car's capabilities before you try to mod. congrats on the win

 

I have learned that the car can drive better than my cousin's ZO6. And also I only really want cosmetic mods. Though I will lower it bout a few cm.

I read somewre that the gas guage is on crack or somthin'. Is this thing really acurate?
Do i also need 91 octane? or an i use 89 or regular? Cause gas is like 3.01 for arco in sunny san diego. the one near my house has it for 2.99 reg though.

 

oooooh woow.....this is going to be interesting......i honestly say you just sell it from what read, sounds like your about 16-17 years old.......Why in world would you want to change the Digital guage for a regular one?
But since you most likely will keep it just get some nice JDM body parts, Amuse front etc. (really clean)........the cars already fast if your comparing it to a Z06 lol.....just get rims/body parts/coilovers

The 5 cents you save only adds up to $50 a year. Not worth it.


The S IMO is a fast car already. Since you are appearance oriented, I suggest investing the 5k in

1. Wheels
2. Coilovers
3. ASM or Amuse front bumper.

Thats at least probably a little over 5k right there.

Tahnks for the help i have decided to get used to the digi guage and keep it stock till i'm 19 or so (i am 18). And he won it at a casino in sin city (las vegas). Anyone hear about a way to increase torque? Cause it seems it needs to be rev into mid rpm. If anyone was wondering i got a yellow one from my uncle.

 

oh i thought you were getting the brand new one. you will get used to and eventually prefer the digital one. its so big you can focus on your driving.


check into final drive gears i.e. 4.44, 4.57, 4.77. it wont technically improve torque but it will be what you want.

yea get a new Final drive for a quicker response.......UHH...YESS use 6th gear on the highway ........ok ill help you out bro

Everyone is differnt but for me i got a ap1 9k RPM

1st: Shift at 3.7k rpms
2,3, same
4,5 a lil higher
6th gear when im going over 45mph.....
