Eibach Sportline Vs Tein S.Tech
Well im planning on dropping my LS on springs but cant decide, so between the two, which one is better as for as being reliable, how they ride and what not. Thanks
I would suggest the Eibach Sportline over the S-tech. Eibach has a waranty for million miles(life time) for sagging, breaking, and whatever. TEIN S-tech tends to settle in too much(sags).
As for ride quality, Eibach will feel more natural without compromising too much ride comfort.
I would also suggest getting aftermarket shocks/struts do to different suspension stroke rate. My choices would be Koni Yellow, Eibach Pro Damper, or Tokico illumina for your replacement.

I cant tell you anything about the teins but I have sportlines on my RS paired with Eibach pro dampers. The ride can be rough sometimes but if the roads i'm on are decent its completely fine. The springs are pretty stiff and I love how the car handles. I mob local canyons with confidence. Drop wise, I love how it looks but the springs are an even drop front and back so naturally the back is a little lower than the front.
Thanks guys, i think im going to spend alittle more and get some Eibach, and another question, With the Eibach and stock shocks, would it damage them quickly? or would it take some time, because im trying to save for boost.
i just installed S techs early september, and the 2 finger drop doesn't fit my needs, should i wait longer for them to sag like you say before i spend money on coil overs that i dont need? Looking forthem to sag 1 finger, so half an inch or so.
Im on stock shocks

oh no didnt mean to steal ur thread, someone mentioned how they are likely to sag, even though tein says it doesnt sag, but im interested in hearing peoples experience. once again sorry but whenever i start a thread seems like it always gets locked...

The eibach Pro kits were designed to be used with the stock shocks. So were the Tein S-techs. Although a company will tell you this, it doesnt mean the shocks wont be comprimised over the long run. The Eibach Sportlines will wear on stock shocks in a quick hurry. I'd do what was said above and get the eibach shocks to go with them. Apparently its a great setup and a matched combo which is always better than a mix and match.

give it some time, i have s-techs, and i too was like watf it doesnt drop as much.
i had two finger gaps in the rear, and now its ~1. it settles a lot

I have the tein s tech on my EM1 and i cant complain, they ride good(even drop front and back). The eibach are gonna be stiffer (and the front is always lower than the back). I you want a comfortable ride and an even drop front and back go with the tein s tech. Or if you want a stiifer ride and uneven drop than go with the eibach sportline. If you want some good stiff springs good with h&r sports.
