Default What is Suspension?

My 91 hatch needs new shocks and springs. The previous owner cut the springs a little too low and it feels like **** driving around. I need a little guidance choosing a setup.

Im looking for something that handles good, but at the same time I dont want to feel every pebble laying on the road. Trying to keep it under 4 or 5 hundred. Any suggestions?

tokico illuminas and eibach pro kits.

you can keep it under 5 if you buy the shocks on ebay (best deals, new) and springs used.

DO NOT BUY BLUES. waste your money.

Im pretty convinced on the illuminas. Are there other springs that work well with those shocks? Its kinda hard finding the eibachi pros under $200 and it wont make my budget. :/

any other suggestions?

you can always go GC/koni for a bit more... that seems to be the hot setup for the street round here...

I love my progress coilovers on my 91 sedan tho.

Do you have the Progress setup that Hasport sells?

it's only $499, so it's pretty damn close to buying lowering springs and shocks (at least money wise)

I have the skunk2 shocks on my integra sedan, they ride stiff and are specifically designed for lowered vehicles.
