car too low hurts accelaration?
this may be a dumb question if you car is low ie. neg camber... does it hurt your accelaration? i raised my car a bit and notice a diffrenece in the ride quality and maybe accelaration just wondering...
when you lower your car, you gain negative camber. the more negative/positive camber you have, the less grip you have available for straight line braking and acceleration (less contact patch).
if you lowered your car too much, your ride might have gone to crap because you were hitting the upper control arms on the shock tower all the time, or rubbing the tires, or bottoming out the shocks.

I raised it up
...so with all that said, it was hurting accelaration?

Yes, excessive negative (or positive) camber can make it easier to peel out, and reduce max acceleration/braking grip.
