Default turbo parts

i have a 1995 integra gsr with 175000 miles on it and im trying to turbo it what internal engine parts do i need and what should i do to prepare for the build I.E. cooling system or other parts that will help to increase the life of the engine thanks

with 175000 miles on it.. jesus, i dont know if that engine can take much more... let alone a turbo.. you might want to look into rebuilding it, or even getting a new one before mentioning anything else about a turbo.

do compression and leakdown tests. if those come out good, boost away.

if you want to boost and not have to worry about a rod breaking or piston melting, forged rods and pistons and new bearings are a good idea. but remember, with a shitty tune even the best parts will go to ****.

with the rebuild i just replace the rods pistons bearings and the head studs or should i replace the crankshaft to

unless the crank spun a bearing it's fine. wouldnt hurt to get it micropolished and balanced.

you can get a compression tester for $30 and do it yourself. you'd need an air compressor for a leakdown though.

i have someone that is trying to sell me a micropolished crankshaft connecting rods and pistons for 500 he says they have low miles on them but what do i look for or should i take them to a shop and have them looked at

from what engine? have them checked out first.

a b 18 engine i was going to have them checked out any way but i just wanted to know if there is anything that i can look for right off so i dont waste my time
