can someone tell me the name of this hose???
im assuming its a coolant hose cause anti-freeze is leaking out of it...it about 5 inches and is located on the left side of the intake manifold near the head(right below the throttle)...it loops down and connect right below...thanks

the hose connects at the intake manifold like i explained above and then it loops down and looks like it goes to the block its abput half the size of a radiator hose and about 5 inches
FITV hose, it should be in two pieces, an inlet and an outlet, maybe it looks like one hose but there should be a metal t fitting in the middle under the throttle body. Is this not it. You must have some small radiator hoses.

youre talking about the horseshoe looking hose right? i've had that hose burst on me last year. i don't think i ever found out the name but i just took it off and went to autozone and showed it to them and they were able to find a replacement no prob. wasn't too expensive either..
You're talking about the hose that goes from the manifold/head to the t-stat housing, right? I've never been able to find out what it's called. It's not even listed in the Helms manual. It shows it, but doesn't have a name.
yeah its the horseshoe shaped one and it does go from the intake manifold to what i guess wou;d be the t housing thing....i fixed it tho just took the hose off and cut it at both ends and clamped it back up...no leaks everythings good thanks guys

That's what I had to do with mine. On a GSR it's a tight bend and then when I added the S2 manifold, well it made the bend even tighter because the manifold flange is thicker. Glad you got it to work.

Hope this diag helps you more than a helms.
Pick the number and let me know, i'll tell you the name of it.

It's different on a GSR, much smaller. On a B18a/b it's in a similar location but is larger. It would be great if he could post up a pic of the b18a/b.

if its off teh 93 hes probally talking about the bypass oulet. next time u should state car and model for ease of help
Based on the OP description I would guess #3 for him. What is #9 called on the GSR, is it different for a 98 GSR? The more I look at it the more I think that may be the one I was talking about. All the lines ran together for me.
