brake light question
hello everyone, i recently got my 96 ex back from the paint shop and i realized that the shop broke one of the bulbs in the back tailights. it was the brake light bulb. now the both brake lights don't function. wth is goin on? fuse? short? idk. any help would be appreciated.
I'm goin to replace the bulbs today, but I don't understand why the lights are not working, it was functioning great until i got it back from the shop and the bulb was busted in the socket.
Ok replaced bulbs check brake light switch and still no brake lights! What should I do next? I called in cause I didn't want to risk getting into a accident.

Check all the fuses? Sound like you've got a wireing problem. Check for power and ground with a multimeter to get started. A test light will work too if you don't have a multimeter
This is a long shot but check all the plugs that are about about 6-10 inches from the light ballast. and check all your fuses under the dash as well as under the hood. Use a multimeter to see if your getting any current at all the the socket. Last but not least... Call the paint shop and tell then they screwed up your car and you want some compensation for your trouble and tell them you lost a day of work because of them.
Ok update, I recheck the under the dash fuse box and fuse #32 (tailights) broke I replaced the fuse with another 7.5 fuse and still no brake lights.
Do u guys think this will be a costly fix? If so ill go to the paint shop to ask them to fix it, but i don't want some paint and body guys messing with my wiring.
does the third brake light work? it may be the brake switch. forgot what its called. Its the switch that behind the brake pedal. If thats busted none of your brake light will work. If the wirings and fuses seem to be ok then this may be your problem.
