I got a V-tech head for free but I dont know what kind of head is,

I got a V-tech head for free but I dont know what kind of head is, but the V-tech solenoid only has one wire no plug no other wire just one. Can that head be use in the mini swap has well. If it is so, how can I wire the v-tech to the p28?

first off its vtec not vtech lol. There should be a series of numbers on the head. Once u locate it then research the number. Is there two cams or one?

Well the v-tec(happy?) head is single cam

well if its a vtec single cam head, its either a z6 or a y8 and can be used for a mini-me setup.

did u get the valve cover? if it says HONDA in big letters is a Y8 and if its has a small H and honda in small letters is a z6 let me know if that helps, i know how it feels when ur new to things, we all been there, bro.

and if u didnt get the valve cover u can always look at the intake manifold, if it looks like a small egg is a Y8 and if it looks like a small breakfast sausage is a z6.

It's not v-tec, it's VTEC. There is no hyphen.
