Well I am doing a B20 in my 92 VX and am having some trouble getting rid of the o2 sensor CEL. I am using a chipped P06, and also the original VX harness. We have double checked this a few times and been searching on here for a while with alot of different options but nothing has worked. I guess I am looking for someone who has dealt with this first hand. Allot of the previous threads were filled with mostly speculation, so please post if you know for sure.
But I am not sure what I am missing here. Does anyone have any other wiring info I can look at.

Even stranger is we cannot get rid of it even though we clicked checked the box in Chrome to disable it.

Im helping him on the wiring side of things and have done this before, and for some reason, everything is right, wiring wise, and no matter what it still throws a CEL. And even in crome when i disable the O2 on several differnt chips its still gets a CEL, and it wont allow the car to rev over 4000rpm.
This is the schematic i use.

since you're still getting CEL1, even with the O2 disabled in Crome. Makes sure that J1 is in place.
have you checked that you are getting the 0-1 vtolt signal at the ECU?
what does datalogging show you? (O2 voltage and other sensors)

Steve thanks for chiming in... I am busy with work and cannot check the forum there.
I guess we will look over things again in the mean time.
If anyone else has any other info please post

Yes the J1 is in place, this ecu came out of my turbo LS setup with no problems. And it is also getting the 0-1v from the ecu. I guess the next step would be to try to just wire the O2 straight into the ecu.

if the ECU is logging 0-1V then it's getting O2 signal, which means it should not set the CEL.
If it is then there is something wrong with the program in the chip.
may be time to rebuild the bin.
no rev > 4000 means the program in the chip is bad. how are you building it? or are you taking existing chips and editing them? (very bad practice due to many different versions of the editors out there and their different uses of memory space)
also, which version of crome are you running?
I have odd random issues with anything newer than 1.2.5
And gold has never worked right for me.
I got so frustrated with Crome that I converted my OBD1 car to OBD2 so I could run the OEM ECU for my swap. Now I'm holding out for eCtune.

actualy its a chip from John Vega at Phearable, it came with the chipping kit that we ordered from him. And im using an older version of Crome, i havent updated it in a long time. But i dont have an issues with it with any of the other cars i chip/tune.

I'd bet that's the reson this is acting strange. It's hard to say which version of Crome he made the bin in. And even if you have the same verson, different plug-ins may change the outcome.
Rebuild the bin from scratch, if you don't know how let me know I can help you.
I havn't asked and I should have earlier... have you tried a different ECU? even a stock ECU should be enough to tell you if it's a wiring problem or an ECU/chip problem.

Ok well let me follow up on this unlike all the others I searched for. This is funny but 2 others asked about this and I was sure it was right. Turns out the plug for the IAT is not grey... but white. People had asked me but I was so sure I never took the time to really look into it. I just said "Yes of course it is hooked up right.. we have done this before helloo" So it ended up back feeding too much power to the IAT and ruining it. Once the problem was found and we got a new sensor all was well.
Interesting though... we put a stock LS ECU and runs fine.... put in the chipped ECU with the chip from Phearable and it turns into a monster....a monster with a CEL for IAC though. Put back in the LS ECU and cell is gone
Steve will chip another ECU and we will try that.
But problem solved
I need to stop over looking the small obvious things. But I do not feel too bad since it has happened to others
