Now that is a good suggestion. 4th gen JDM h22s always come with the little vacuum diaphragm in line with the FPR vacuum source, which I also assume is for TCS.

that thing is to richen the mixture or osme crap during startup, it has nothing to do with TCS. think about it, how are you going to cut fuel by cutting off vacuum to the fpr and increasing the fuel pressure?

Did the previous owner tell you that he was using nitrous?
Because that's a Hobb's pressure switch that kills the nitrous system when fuel pressure gets below a certain pressure level.

^^^ bingo!
that's a fuel pressure safety switch. that car probably had nitrous on it at one time or another.
looks just like the switch from my nitrous express kit. cuts nitrous off if fuel pressure is too low.

You got lucky. Is it still the original motor? Otherwise, he probably didn't use it too often, or used a small shot.
But it's still shitty that he didn't disclose the fact that there was a nitrous kit on the car prior.

D'OH.
I never really thought about it, just ditched it.

had that on my old motor, then I didn't really know what it was and never asked, but a few weeks later, I was cleaning my car out and found 1/4 mile slips under my drivers seat, and turns out they were mid-13's on this "I thought stock" motor. It could be, it couldn't be. Try contacting the guy and see if he had nitrous on it, if not, call honda

That's definitely not a fuel pressure regulator! It's more like a pressure switch.
