LX Cat??
I have an 02 civic lx (should of gotten an si) and i wanted to know if i bought a catback exhaust, would have to replace the header with it?? cause the stock header already has a built-in cat.. thanks in advance guys
It's in the FAQ but I'll throw you a bone. If you buy a EX catback you need to buy the tananbe extension pipe or convert to an ex header and downpiple. If you buy a LX catback you'll be fine.

no... there is no 2nd cat, but there is a resonator

I probably shouldn't have been so short fused, my bad for that. Sometimes I forget that everyone has to start somewhere but understand that these kind of questions get asked more than they should.

well i got an lx, and you need a ex conversion.. get the ex header, and the ex down pipe OR go with the EX aftermarket header and Random tech dp, with a cat... pass emissions and be enviro-friendly... and be cool and looud!...vroom!

Incorrect, there is an LX cat-back. Check dezod.com.
