if you have a one wire O2 sensor, that is where the purple O2 wire runs to. just splice it inline with the regular wire. the ground goes to a chassis ground, and the power wire should go to switched 12V.

Where is the purple O2 wire? Does it go into the ECU? If so where is it located on the ECU? I have a '89 CRX Si. Where is the closest 12v switch wire to the A-pillar where my guage pod is? Is there one by the fuse box? I would perfer not to tap in right where the wires go into the ECU b/c I have VTEC controller and most the wires are spliced already.

splice right into it before the o2 sensor.
