Air/Fuel guage hookup
Alright, the search function didn't give me any leads...so here goes:
Trying to hook up and a/f ratio guage on my d16y8.
The O2 sensor is the thing coming out of the stock exhaust mani, right?
There are four wires. Which one is the signal wire?
Its hotter than hell around that area...should I connect the wire for the a/f guage closer to the ecu than in the engine bay? If so, which wire is the o2 signal wire going into the ecu?
Whoever can help is automatically considered this shizzit. fo shizzle dizzle.

Re: Air/Fuel guage hookup (elevatethis)
Yes it is the thing hanging out of the header. I hooked very close to the o2 sensor itself. I just left a decent amount of wire so that i could run it around the engine bay without having to have it sit on anything hot or get it in the way. I think the wire you tap is green and purple, but i could be very wrong. It should say it on the directions of the a/f guage. Good luck and enjoy the visiual display it puts on!

i've heard people say its safer to run it off the ecu but i had mine tapped to my O2 sensor for about a year with no problems. you're looking to tap the white wire.

Oh yeah the directions are wrong.... run the wire all the way through the fire wall then past the engine and to the o2 sensor... that's easier the just going to the passenger side then the ecu.... you can do either.... they both work...
