Default vafc = pos? I found another discrepancy.....

With the key in the ignition to acc, but the car not started you can look at the vafc monitor for throttle position... Floor it and it reads 100%.....

But if you're driving along at say 3k rpms and drop the hammer, the peak recall only shows maybe 95-98% sometimes...

Anyone know why? It's just reading voltage, so why doesn't it show 100% half of the time it should. Pedal is to the floor and there is 0 deflection in my throttle cable.

I've had the same problem with my car and i'm also wondering what could cause this....Maybe the heat is causing the cable to expand?

I know why, possibly.

The TPS sensor was not .45 volts.
