Default Alpine SEC-8027

i have a Alpine SEC-8027 in my car and im wanting to put a turbo timer on it and when i had it looked at they said it needed a relay put into it before or after the alarm but its not my thing but i need a turbo timer its driving me nuts.....

Check and see if your SEC-8027 is remote start "ready", open the unit up and see if it has a black loop of wire on the circuit board, just below the 3 on-board relays.

If it does, all you need to do is strip a little insulation off the wire loop and supply a ground to it when car is running, used for a remote starts status output, [ground out when running]. 94
