intercooler affects throttle response?
i read somewhere that having an intercooler with your turbo set up is going to result in worse throttle response than not running an intercooler. now i know that the majority of setups use intercoolers, so i'm wondering if it would be worth it to turbo a d16y8 without an intercooler, using a t25 or 14b dsm turbo size. keep in mind that i would not be racing or trying to set any hp records, just dd'ing it. pros? cons?
the difference is throttle responce wouldnt be enough for you to notice it....
run an intercooler... period
I have one of the biggest intercoolers you can imagine, and i dont have any lag in throttle response...

i'd rather have a safe efficient setup than worry about a loss in throttle response i may or may not even notice
