Im a noob as well when it comes to building, I am currently doing a LS/Vtec, that would be my guess. My understanding after reading several books, posts, and everything I can find is that you can mate a b20 block to a b16 head search the threads for "ls/vtec" for the how to part of it.

the b20a5 is the bastard b series motor
u can do a vtec swap the result are worthless.
i say do a h22 swap cause it is perty strait foward
or turbo the b20a5(they are great turbo motors they have allmost the same bore and stroke as a 4g63 motor)
