Can I put a vtec camshaft on a non vtec head?

Default Can I put a vtec camshaft on a non v-tech head?

I'm workin on a eg 93 sohc proyect an is a non vtec and I cant find the non vtec camshat so I was wondering if the vtec camshaft works on the nonvtec head?

on the real no u cant use a vtec camshaft on a non vtec head

As long as you dont touch one of those blue buttons, you may never know.

Do you have a vtec cam on hand to compare the profile against, get the rocker set up as well if the normal rockers will fit your motor.

Some one else may give you a better answer, did you look at ALL forum FAQs.

Yes and I didnt see anything of cams so I think I'll have to get a vtec head right? And if it so, do I had to make any changes to de nonvtec block?

jus buy some non vtec cams.. if vtec cam fit.. they would of done this long time ago
