Default skunk2 IM

so, i just got my spoon axel back exhaust in this morning and still waiting on my headers.
thinking about buying a skunk2 intake manifold but was told that it would't make a different because the skunk2 IM was already engineered after the ITR, therfore making it pointless to buy it because there will be no gain in power.

can someone clearify this up for me. thanks!

if you have a type r then the skunk would make no difference.

but you haven't told us anything about your car so who knows.

purchasing an IM without new cams would be pointless anyway.

Leave the IM alone. It wont really give you much gains. Try the Edelbrock IM when you get a few more mods and you'll see the difference

Get it tuned? Like others have said... cams, larger IM like an Edelbrock , TB etc etc.

you can get the stock tr manifold ported and that will make a difference, then get yourself some cams and valvetrain and that should be good.

get a better header. itr b18c's can really wake up with a nice flowing header and exhaust.

AN-R is one of my favorites. There are tons of threads in the all motor forum about this topic, so I suggest searching before asking any more questions.

depends on how much you wanna spend

the rage/hytech is probably the best, wont make you want to shoot yourself for spending so much on a header, header.
