Default Runs upside down?

I just completely totaled my car this weekend, it rolled a few times...It was running upside down for a good 5 min. After it was towed, I refilled the oil, pulled the plugs and turned it over a few times, When the plugs went back in it ran as smoothly as it did before it wrecked. What else could go wrong in the top end that I should check for before I go pulling the motor. Doesn't seem to have any knock in the bottom end. In fact, the check engine light never even came on. There's oil everywhere...

it probably had close to no oil pressure at all. all of the oil would have washed straight up to the valve cover and leaked into the intake pipe some also.

My roommate did the same thing in his old type r civic coupe, and the engine ran fine afterward/still runs fine....

If it lost enough oil wouldn't it throw a CEL? if not the vtec pressure switch, then difinately the regular oil pressure switch. I may be wrong. Does the switch work upside down?

So, uh, how'd it happen? Seems like you are OK health-wise so that's good.
Personally, I would part it out and start over with the proceeds.

I dont think the ECU monitors oil pressure and VTEC does not work at crash roll speeds below 3000 RPM.

It was raining out. <-o o-> <-o o-> <-o o-> (get it)then the beads broke on the tires(Fulkan Ziex's). I'll try to post some pics if I get a chance. I'm pretty much "giving" the motor away to a buddy of mine. Oh well.

wow that thing is effed up. You should chop it up and take what ever is good on the thing and sell it, and thake the rest to the scrap yard. Also if you got Vtec pins on that thing Im needing those.

i love that the car looks in pretty decent shape considering it went rolling x times... makes me feel safe if it were to happen to me.

i need the pass side clear bumper lights and the trim piece around the door handle (pass side) if you're selling parts .. PM me.

i have some vtec, pins, how many you need? pm me.
